Meditation in Hawaii, Now That’s How to Do It!
Even though I frequently write about how important it is to integrate meditation into your daily life, there are times when I know that I need to put aside my to-do list, break from routine, and take the time and space to meditate. Sometimes it’s just about enjoying quiet time at home and in the natural environment that I live in. Other times, I need to step out a little and see beyond my present horizon.
Recently I enjoyed a well-deserved and long overdue vacation with my wife. We’ve left our son at home and we stayed at a cozy cottage on the Big Island of Hawai’i, taking time to nourish ourselves and enjoy the preciousness of the moment.
Why am I telling you this?
During my trip, I was able to take the downtime and really practice integrating meditation into my life in a low-key and relaxed environment, which is a real luxury after living a hectic life. But not only that, when I returned from my trip, for a long time afterwards, I was able to integrate that slowed pace back into my life. And then it struck me, I want to share this kind of practice environment and experience with my peers (that’s you), sharing the methods and techniques that I outline in my book in a beautiful, relaxed and warm environment. So…
I want to invite you to join me in Hawaii next year for a meditation intensive. Seriously? Yes.
More details will follow as this event evolves. For now, send me a little information, below, and let me know that you’re interested and what you’d like to gain from this experience. I’ll follow up with you and we can talk about going to Hawai’i next year.
